Our Story

A family for the forgotten.

Grace Kemmy Foundation began in a small home in Umoja, Nairobi, when one widow opened her doors to children who had nowhere to sleep. Today, we are a faith-driven family caring for hundreds — believing every child deserves a meal, a teacher, and a place to call home.

Our Mission

To restore dignity and hope through holistic care rooted in the love of Christ.

Our Vision

A Kenya where no child is forgotten and every widow is honored.

What We Do

SIX WAYS WE WANT TO WALK WITH OUR COMMUNITY.

Every program is shaped by real needs whispered to us by the families we serve.

Feeding Program

We want to feed our more than a hundred children of which the number is increasing rapidly with hot meals.

Education Support

School fees, uniforms, books and tuition need to be provided for vulnerable learners.

Shelter and Care

We want to build a safe home for orphans and children rescued from the street.

Bible Teaching

We need to have Sunday school lessons.

Widow Support

Single mothers need to be empowered with skills, fellowship & provision.

Community Outreach

Reaching neighborhoods in Nairobi with food, shelter & prayer.

Transport & Logistics

We want to provide transport for the children to and from school, medical appointments, and community events.

Stories of Impact

Small moments. Lasting change.

Plates that say: you are not forgotten.
Mealtime

Plates that say: you are not forgotten.

Every weekday, ugali, beans and laughter fill our dining hall — for many, the only hot meal of their day.

Little hands, big stories.
Early Learning

Little hands, big stories.

Our youngest children gather on woven mats to discover books, language and the wonder of learning.

Mentorship

A patient hand on every page.

Caregivers sit beside each child until the homework is done — and the heart is heard.

Faith & Values

“Pure religion is to care for orphans and widows.”

Our work flows from a quiet conviction: that every child carries the image of God. Through Bible study, prayer and gentle mentorship, we plant seeds of hope that will outlive us.
